Eficacia de diferentes sistemas, en la remoción del cemento biocerámico a nivel de túbulos dentinarios. Estudio in vitro

Resumen

Objetivo: Evaluar la eficacia de sistemas complementarios (Xp-Endo Finisher R y PUI) en la remoción del cemento biocerámico RCS (Septodont) a nivel de los túbulos dentinarios. Metodología: Treinta y seis raíces distovestibulares, se instrumentaron y se obturaron con técnica de cono único y cemento Bioroot, siendo almacenadas en una incubadora durante 30 días. Se desobturaron con sistema XP-Endo Retratamiento y se dividieron al azar en tres grupos. Grupo 1: sin sistema complementario, Grupo 2: se usó Xp-endo Finisher R y Grupo 3: se usó PUI. Las muestras se observaron en SEM y los datos se analizaron mediante la prueba de Chi Cuadrado. Resultados: No hubo diferencias significativas entre PUI y Xp-Endo Finisher R en la remoción del cemento, en tercios cervical y medio (p > 0.080 y p > 0.085 respectivamente), pero sí para el tercio apical (p < 0,029). Conclusión: El uso de sistemas complementarios aumenta la limpieza de los túbulos dentinarios durante el retratamiento del cemento biocerámico.
