Uretero-ileal stenosis is a complication after making a urinary diversion, which occurs in 16% to 29% of cases. Therefore, intervention techniques have been developed, by means of antegrade and retrograde stent placement, like alternatives to open surgery, with the antegrade approach being the preferred approach by most urologists; however, the retrograde approach offers advantages in terms of minimizing complications and must be considered as a first-line treatment option. We present a clinical case of a patient with a history of urothelial carcinoma who underwent radical cystoprostatectomy plus Bricker-type ileal conduit; he is currently presenting an Obstructive Uropathy; treated with flexible ureteroscopy plus placement of a right double J catheter through the ileal conduit, by endoscope support, without complications.
