The pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, will mark the 21st century in a before and after, has affected all spheres of human development, with global health, economic and social impact. Excess mortality, unemployment, increasing orphanhood and captivity will mark human behavior in ways that will be evaluated over time. A qualitative research was carried out with a face-to-face approach method through structured surveys of 14 questions, in eight patients with critical COVID-19, who underwent prolonged hospitalizations in the intensive care unit and who in their evolution had life-threatening medical complications.
